Alleging that the DPC result for the appointment of malaria technical superviors, MLT and multipurpose workers in the state health department was declared with date back against the Model Code of Conduct of elections currently in force, the Democratic Students' Alliance of Manipur has drew the attention of the state chief minister to look into the matter.
According to a statement of the DESAM dispatched today, the result for the DPC for the recruitment of 14 post of malaria technical supervisor, 12 MLT, 100 multipurpose worker was declared by some state malaria officers in collusion with the health minister without the knowledge of the selection constituted for the purpose on March 5 backing the date as February 27. The declaration of the result was done from the backdoor despite knowing the fact that model code of conduct has enforced in the state with the announcement of the election schedule on March 2, the statement said while appealing the concern authorities to look into the matter and take up appropriate action to cancel the result and declared the result on merit basis after the election over.
The deed of the health minister is like doing whatever one want keeping behind the provision of the Constitution of India.
The declaration of the result with signature of the state malaria officer itself indicated that the result was declared without the knowledge of the selection committee constituted for the purpose and on the vested interest of the health minister, DESAM lamented demanding cancellation of the same.
