Laying Stress on the prevailing trends of disarray among the youths of the state, Manipur titular King, Leishemba Sanajaoba has derided for lack of unity among the youth.
Speaking as the chief guest on the discussion programme of "Remini-scence of Manipur Historic Treaty of Yandaboo, 24th February, 1826," Leishemba Sanajaoba said that the tTreaty of Yandaboo was a historic event while adding that every person must think why the event is being reminisced.
He also called upon the people to stand as one and protect the integrity of the state together.
Addressing the gathe-ring, RV Mingthing, ex-minister said that the people of the state need to stand together.
He also said that a way must be charted out how the people of the state can be united while also delving on the Treaty of Yandaboo.
The consortium was held at Kangla Hall under the aegis of Federation of Regional Indigenous So-cieties (FREINDS).
The occasion was also graced by Joy Chingkham, FREINDS secretary and RV Mingthing, ex minister.
The resource persons were Prof N Joykumar, MU, Khaidem Mani, Advocate and Yumnamcha Dilipkumar, president of IPSA.
Among others, the occasion was also attended by ex-minister, Dr M Nara, renowned Thang-ta instructor, Brijit Ngangomba.
