Two-day seminar on economic development held at Ukhrul

Imphal, October 11 2009: Organised by the Tangkhul Katamnao Long Delhi, a 2-day seminar on economic development will be held at Ukhrul Town Hall, Phungreitang Ukhrul on Oct 13 and 14.Inviting students to take part in the seminar, the statement of the student body expressed its concern to help the people come out of economic bondages and move towards ensuring self-reliance educationally and economically.

Highlighting the programme, the statement said, "the seminar aims at taking a holistic view of our society to address various ailments and desiderata the people ought to embark upon for the common well being of the society." The seminar is also designed to give special focus on the sustenance of our divine-blessed environment and ecology, strengthening of agriculture and the age-old backbone of our society, it said.

Renowned personalities of different professions will be speaking on the two days occasion as resource persons, it informed.
