People's Democratic Alliance (PDA), Senapati district submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister O Ibobi pressing various demands.
The memorandum demanded immediate drought relief for hill areas.
Maintaining that hill areas are worse hit by the dry spell comparing to valley areas, PDA alleged that the valley areas always get the major chunk of the relief.
The memorandum also demanded immediate withdrawal of commandos and IRB personnel from hill areas.
PDA in its memorandum also drew the attention of the CM regarding the pathetic condition of NH-39 .
The memorandum urged upon the CM to do the needful before coming of any public uprising.
