Imphal, September 03 2009: The All Rongmei Development Committee (ARDC), Jiribam has appealed to the Government to find an amicable solution to the demand of Kaiphundai Students' Union (KSU) before the situation gets out of control, reports our Jiribam correspondent.

A team of ARDC members today visited the vice president of KSU Kakhandai Gangmei who is undergoing medical treatment after being beaten up by some 5 IRB jawans at a place in between Khongsang and Rengpang along NH-53 on July 25 .

KSU has been launching various agitations demanding punishment of the guilty jawans.
