Imphal, September 03 2009: A condolence meeting of the All Manipur Government College Teachers' Association (AMGOCTA) was held at GP Women's College this afternoon to condole the untimely demise of AMCTA president P Laingam.

The meeting expressed deep sorrow and profound grief at the sudden demise of P Laingam.

As a mark of respect to the departed soul, a two minute silence was also observed during the condolence meeting, conveyed a press release.

The United College Teachers' Association, Lambung Chandel has also condoled the untimely demise of P Laingam, Senior Grade Lecturer Oriental College Imphal, president of the All Manipur College Teachers' Association (AMCTA) and national secretary AIFUCTO.

A condolence meeting was held in the office of the Principal, United College today.

The members present in the meeting also observed two minute silence in honour of the departed soul, conveyed a press release.
