Meet resolves to kick out drug pushers, abusers

Imphal, July 13: A public meeting held today at Purana Jama Masjid, Lilong has resolved to kick out all drug abusers and pushers from Lilong Bazar area.

The meeting attended by religious leaders and a large number of people was presided by Md Basiruddin.

As per the resolution of the meeting, some individuals were expelled from the locality today.

Those expelled for abusing and pushing drugs are identified as Abdur Rehman (45), Md Musa alias Ibomcha of Lilong Bazar, Nurjan w/o Md Ithem of Haoreibi Awang Leikai and Md Akbar.

Asking all the people not to extend any kind of support or assistance to drug abusers and pushers, the meeting resolved that those found supporting or working in collusion with the drug pushers and abusers will be held responsible for any untoward incident resulting thereof.
