State Junior girls football team defeated goalless Chhattisgarh with nine goals in the semi final match played today and entered the final round of the ongoing 8th Junior Girls National Football Championship, 2009 being held at Bhadrak, Orissa.
Once again displaying its dominating nature, state junior girls defeated Chhattisgarh 9-0 and entered the final round to fight host Orissa in the final match.
State players dominated the players of Chhattisgarh throughout the match right from the beginning giving them no chance to strike back.
The first goal of Manipur was registered in the 3rd minute of the match by Rinaroy.
The second goal of Manipur came in the 14th minute of the match which was scored by state player Nungshitombi.
She again scored another goal against Chhattisgarh in the 29th minute of the match.
The fourth goal of Manipur came from Pramodini in the 40th minute of the match.
The first half of the match concluded with Manipur leading by four goals against NIL of Chhattisgarh.
Just like in the first half, Rinaroy scored her second goal against Chhattisrgarh in the 48th minute of the match.
Binodini scored the sixth goal of Manipur in the 58th minute.
The remaining three goals of Manipur were scored by Rinaroy in the 62nd, 71st and 73rd minutes of the match.
Manipur will fight Orissa for the champion's trophy in the final match which has been scheduled to play on December 11 next.
