Manipur emerge taekwondo champs

Manipur grabbed 125 medals to emerge overall champions in the 29th Sub-Junior boys and girls National Taekwondo Championships, held at Multipurpose Hall on Saturday.
Defending champions Maharashtra finished second with 119 medals.
Manipur continued their good work on the last day and grabbed 62 medals to emerge champions in boys section while girls from that state collected 63 medals to finish second along with Uttarakhand who also grabbed 63 medals.
In the girls section, Maharashtra emerged champions after collecting 77 medals.
Assam boys were declared the 'best fighting spirit' team while Bihar were 'best fighting spirit' team in the girls section.
