Imphal, May 09: The XXI State Age Group Aquatic Championship 2005 organised by Manipur Swimming Association will be held from May 13 to 15 at Khuman Lampak Swimming Pool in swimming, water polo and diving for boys and girls in accordance with FINA rules.

The championship is divided into four groups for swimming and three groups for diving in sub-junior section.

In swimming Group - I comprises of age group between 15 to 17 years (born in the year 1988, 89 and 1990); group-II � 13 to 14 years (born in the year 1991 and 1992); group - III � 11 and 12 years (born in the year 1993 & 94) and group-IV � 9 & 10 years (born in the year 1995 & 96).For diving group-I comprises of 16 to 18 years (born in the year 1987, 88 & 89); group-II � 15 & 15 years (born in the year 1990 & 91) and group-III � 12 and 13 years (born in the year 1992 & 93).Group-I and II swimming events (boys and girls) will be held in free style (50 m, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m and 1500m), back stroke (50 m, 100m, 200m), breast stroke (50 m, 100m, 200m), butterfly stroke (50 m, 100m, 200m), Individual medley (200m, 400m), free style relay (4X100m, 4X200m) and medley relay 4X100m.As per SFI general council decision a swimmer will be allowed to participate in maximum of five events with a registration fee of Rs 25 per player and entry fee of Rs 10 per player per event with last date of submission of entries is May 12.The water polo event for junior in both boys and girls will be held and they should be born on or after 1-1-1987.Swimming events for group-III will be held in free style (50m, 100m and 200m) and group -IV (50m & 100m), back stroke (gr-III -50m, 100m) and (gr-IV - 50 m), breast stroke (gr-III 50m, 100m) and (gr-IV- 50 m), butterfly stroke (gr-III - 50m, 100m) and (gr-IV - 50 m), Individual medley (gr-III - 200m) and (gr-IV - 200m), relays (gr-III - 4X50m free style relay, 4X50m medley relay) and (gr-IV - 4X50m free style relay, 4X50m medley relay).
