Lizard rescued

Imphal, April 16 2017:
A Bengal Monitor lizard which was rescued by Bishnupur police was released in its natural habitat today in collaboration with the Forest Department.
According to a source, the lizard was rescued from Nachou village by the police team led by OC Rishi and was handed over to Honorary Wildlife Warden RK Birjit who ultimately released the lizard into the wild near Nungnang village.
