Imphal, November 04 2011:
The Movement for Tribal People's Rights, Manipur (MTPRM) has appealed to the government of Manipur to extend the date of issue and submission of form seat allotment in the newly constructed Tribal Market located at New Lambulane, Imphal by at least about one month considering the present situation in the state.
In a statement, President of MTPRM S Ramhaoleng observed that fixing November 5 as the last date for form submission would be impossible, as it would entail putting together number of documents like tribe certificate, income certificate, no employment certificate, etc.
This would deprive the chances of genuine and legitimate persons to get the seats.
The government of Manipur should extend the date so as to give equal opportunity to all the interested persons and no one is left out of availing such opportunities.
