With the primary aim of providing financial assistance to the persons who were seriously injured or lost their near and dear ones during the ceasefire agitation in 2001, All Manipur United Clubs' Organisation (AMUCO) today gave away financial assistance to Gulshan, Baby Goldie and Sobita in a simple function at Hotel Excellency.
It may be noted here that Gulshan and Baby Goldie lost their fathers during the ceasfire agitation while Sobita was crippled.
AMUCO's advisor Dr Dhanabir Laishram, AMUCO's president Yangsosong Koireng and AMUCO's vice president KT Rahman attended the function as the chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
AMUCO members also presented a sum of Rs 4,500 each to Gulshan and Sobita along with a souvenir copy of the compilation of the events of the cease fire agitation of 2001 during the function.
