The Computer Literacy Programme (CLP) is being offered by Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) in collaboration with the Ministry of Information Technology, Government of India to spread computer knowledge among the people for a duration of one month throughout the year since April 5, 2002 .
According to a statement issued by Regional Director of IGNOU, Imphal Regional Centre the programme is designed to help the leaner to acquire basic information and skills related to Microsoft Office, Internet, Web Technology, PC Trouble Shooting and EDUSAT.
For undergoing the course, learners may choose any of the IGNOU Study Centres or the Community Information Centres (CIC) of the Ministry of Information Technology or the CRNI Knowledge Centres or the Partner Institutions (under Convergence Scheme of the Distance Education Council, Delhi) of the region concerned.
