The India International Friendship Society (IIFS) has nominated the name of Lok Sabha MP from Manipur Outer Parliamentary constituency Mani Charenamei for the prestigious Glory of India Award to distributed on July 21 in London, United Kingdom.
According to the communique intimated to the MP, the IIFS said that the award will be presented during the conference on Global Participation In India�s Economic Develop- ment.
It also said that top leaders, economists, entrepre- neurs and high profile professionals will be address- ing the conference.
According to the communique past awardees of this category given by IIFS include late Mother Teresa, AIR Chief Marshal N.C.Suri, business tycoon Vijay Mallya, late actor Sunil Dutt, Dev Anand, British High Commissioner in India Sir Michael Arthur, former CBI Director Joginder Singh and many other celebrities.
IIFS, according to its communique, is an international organisation with global repute and influence which espouses humanitarian causes and promote uni- versal brotherhood.
