Maharaj : Bizando , are you pretty sure that we are winning the Inner seat ? & what about the Outer?
Bizando : Eigya, respectfully I told you umpteen times that I am not happy with these nomenclature “Outer” and “Inner”; please refer them as Hills and Valley; by the way we are winning both , in the Hills by a margin of thirty thousand as per your own announcement and in the Valley by not less than fifty thousand as per Party calculators.

Maharaj : Bizando , never go by our own assessment ; on that premise every candidate is winning by their own calculation; tell me what is the feedback from the media ?
Bizando : Hujur , media is also playing politics , they are saying it is difficult to say , let us wait till 23 May ; this time media is seemingly balanced , perhaps they are equally pampered or intimidated .

Maharaj : Did you speak to the reporters who were personally covering the polling stations ? If you gather the info from the Editors, they will give you a diplomatic reply.
Bizando : Sire, you know better, even those reporters who covered the election extensively are not willing to share their information, they simply say that the ECI has asked not to share the exit poll report till the end of the seventh phase polling i.e., 19th May ( evening).

Maharaj : Bizando, I am not asking the exit poll result ; I simply want the expert opinion and their genuine assessment of the situation and of course their expected results.
Bizando : Eigya, experts have become sentimental and emotional; party experts became violent in a news-room of a prominent media house; perhaps they are also confused what to talk; everybody knows that everything is fair in love and war .

Maharaj : Bizando , are you crazy ? it is neither war nor love. What do you mean? For our spokespersons we need to provide enough security; it applies to all the parties; until and unless they get enough security, they must restrain themselves; they are supposed to speak, shout and yell but to our pleasant surprise they are fighting; some discipline ought to be maintained. Just find out whether a new phone has been given to the victim.
Bizando : Eigya , this is so simple, it is utter love for power, and fighting an election here in this part of the world is not less than a war; all kinds of resources are used to win as normally done in a war; election is both love and war and so it becomes more dangerous and ruthless. For the I-phone, I will talk to Moon the victim or Impacted Rup-ki-rani.

Maharaj : Don’t tell me all these things ; I have the experience of love and war in the last 20 years or so. It is wonderful, it is beautiful, it is intoxicating, but at times it is terrible.
Bizando : Intelligent people are saying that this time there was a competition among the electorates of Heingang, Thongju and Andro in terms of voting percentage ; their sense of participation in the democratic process was spasmodically hyper.

Maharaj: The spirit leads to the booth ; look at Heingang , the turnout is above 90 percent, perhaps the highest ; this is how we democratize the democratic process ; complete freedom is guaranteed to the electors to choose their representatives.
Bizando : Hujur , some leaders are crying foul ; they think that 90 percent is too high ; they smell a rat and complain of unfair means ; they also express doubts about the EVM .

Maharaj : Why ? even 100 percent is possible, if all the voters come out and cast their votes, it becomes cent percent; such things happens when the awareness and democratization process is complete ; sometimes it happens in the Hills; that is what we long for in a vibrant democracy. For EVM , it was not started by us; now everyone is trying to blame EVM only when they lose the election; let all the winners say that it should be done away with, then we can do so; for that we need consensus among the winners ; losers hardly can decide on such sensitive matters.
Bizando : Sire, this time money power is less used , it is quite evident from the fact that cash seizure is less than 1 crore ; but the drugs, drinks and bullion seizures make us proud number one in the entire region, Ahom is a poor second. However, my concern pertains to the devaluation of our voters, 200 per voter is too mean and miserly; one agent blurted out that the valuation for the Assembly is much higher.

Maharaj : Bizando , be serious, are you sure that we are winning both the seats ; if we can’t , what are the possible repercussions and ramifications?
Bizando : Hujur, If we win both , we continue cozily; if we lose we are in precarious position; if we win one and lose one, that is also not a very comfortable position, but still we can hang around; again Sire, our destiny is linked with Dilli outcome !

Maharaj : I am curious about Dilli , what is happening ? Is there a possibility of a repeat performance? Will the same dispensation continue? What is up ?
Bizando : Eigya, opposition says, though the situation remains dicey we are coming back ; but it looks like we are heading towards a collision government with a rag- tag coalition.
