Synopsis of the book
"WHO IS A TERRORIST?" written by Prof. Soyam Lokendrajit, Head, Dept. of Philosophy, Manipur University and published by Waba Publications. The book is a critique of the politics of definition. The Corporate Empire monopolises definitions and premises, draws its own conclusions.
Accordingly, it is busy in mapping the scheme of things to its heart's content, presiding over the destiny of mankind in its so called dispensation of freedom. However a journey into the heart of the Empire reveals terror, rape, murder, fake encounter, corruption, greed, hypocrisy, multiple-speak, genocide and ecocide in the name of development, corrosion of timeless civilisational values, making zombies of humans in the so called democratic experiment.
The author's own journey spanning over a decade is mirrored in a series of essays on the themes of terrorism and revolution, AFSPA, sovereignty, right to self-determination, non-violence and conflict resolution, identity and violence, democracy, civil society and good governance. Throughout the journey his fidelity is to the dialectics of transcendence and looking towards what lies beyond the horizon.
The contents of the book include
1) On Who A Terrorist Is,
2) Terrorism And Death Of Revolution,
3) Reasoning With The Terrorist,
4) Amarty Sen On Identity and Violence,

6) Non-Violence and Conflict Resolution in North-East India,
7) Is Sovereignty an Inalienable part of Self-Determination,
