Dear Brothers,

We, the fans and the rock music lovers would like to invite you all, the senior pioneer rock musicians of Manipur in the 1st Imphal Metal Convention 2012. We would like you to know that you are remembered and will always have a place in our hearts.

We grew up with rock-music/ heavy metal as a staple diet. We grew up with the sounds of guitars strumming on lazy afternoons when walking down leikais. We got goose bumps when watching your live concerts. We had you to show us how to play the first song that we learnt.

You all had gone through the hardships to discover, to obtain and to pursue rock/ heavy metal music. We can imagine you convincing your folks to buy you a guitar. We can imagine you convincing them that sporting long hair is OK. We can imagine you learning all the chords, riffs, lyrics and solos by ear on cassette players. We can imagine you stepping up on stage and introducing an entire generation of Manipur to the heavier side of life. You bore all the hardships of being the pioneers and paved the way for all of us.

For all that you have given us, there won't be enough ways for us to thank you brothers. As a small gesture of our gratitude and to let you know that you all live in our hearts, we are inviting you to be with us, with the fans and to witness the 1st Imphal Metal Convention, at YAC ground (Range), on the 14th of April.
