TODAY -
That I wished
Akham Nilabirdhwaja Singh *
In a fine weather
In your garden
I wept
When the gentle breeze blew.
When the fragrance of champaka flower felt
A wild pigeon cooed
Roosting on the tree branch yonder,
Rows of herons flying
In the clear blue sky,
In a fine weather
In solitude
I wept
In your garden.
