Subject : Request to use Smart Phone Election Mobile Apps for voting in place of EVMs in Elections in Manipur.

Dear Sir,

I know that you are the head of the Election Management Body in Manipur for Lok-sabha, Bidhan -Sabha, ADCs and PRIs as per the constitution of India.

Election Commission of India (ECI) had been adopting the First-past-the-post voting method on a regular basis every five years. In this method, the electors may vote for only one candidate (of their choosing) in each constituency. The candidate who receives the highest votes is declared the winner. ECI is in charge of ensuring impartial, fair and free elections in the all State and the country.

To bring down the cost of election is a part of Election Management. India is poor and developing country, we need to use our merger financial resources for implementation of good schemes of the poor. Financial Poverty is still a major challenge for India.

The technologies of voting used by ECI were (1) Show of Hands, (2) Ballot Papers & ballot Boxes and (3) Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs). The last one is used in recent time in the country.

Election were conducted at a points which are called Polling Stations. The ECI, Govt. of India had expended huge amount of fund while engaging Polling offers, Helpers, Furniture and fixture, State and Central Security personals, party agents etc. and for their movements & their food to reach Polling stations and vice versa.

Please create a Mobile Election Apps software for voting / election purpose for Manipur. I suggest you to use the Mobile Election Apps Software in Smart phones of all genuine electors for voting in place of EVMs in the ensuring “2024 Bidhan Sabha General Election” and other Elections (ADCs, Municipalities and PRI) of Manipur.

Merit points of Smart phone Mobile Election Apps for voting :

1. ECI will be able to provide and guarantee 100% free, fair and impartial elections in all states and the country more than in previous years.

2. Booth capturing and control of Polling Stations by particular party / candidate having muscle power and money power and also candidate influenced by armed militants will be Nil / Zero.

3. The cost of engaging Human resources for election like Polling Officers, His / Her Helpers, Central and State security forces, cost of movement and food of these Human Resources will be Nil.

4. Elections in all the Kendra ( i.e. constituencies) of same state or country Nation can be held in the same day came be finished between 08:30 Hrs to 14:15 Hrs . The result of election can be declared in few hours provided internet security is maintained. There is no need of waiting 20 to 30 days to declare the election results.

5. Cost of manufacturing new EVMs and repairing of EVMs will be replaced by Smart Phones of all voters / electors.
