Rahul Gandhi birthday observed at Dimapur
NPCC joined the rest of the nation in observing the birthday of Shri Rahul Gandhi ji, former AICC President. In keeping with the wishes of Rahul ji as to not celebrate his birthday due to COVID-19 and the tragic loss of our brave soldiers in Galwan valley who were killed by the Chinese Army, the birthday occasion was observed in a different way to help out those in distress due to the current pandemic situation.
A brief function was held at the residence of Dimapur DCC President which was attended by PCC officials and invited officials from DUCCCF, Dimapur Sadar GBs Association and Naga Women Hoho Dimapur.
Keeping in mind the strict social distancing policy, only some needy families were invited. Before starting the meeting, two minutes silence was observed in remembrance of our brave soldiers who have made the ultimate sacrifice while defending the nation.
