Bijita Akham *
Visited and searched everywhere
But found none everywhere like you
Oh! Motherland Manipur
I didn't get any shelter.
Thy smell oh! Motherland
Sweets like the parijat of Kuber garden
The visage is the
The Nandand Kanan of the Heaven.
Oh! mother, thy glory is
The Diamond of Eidorado,
Thy kindness is
The milkyway of the Heaven.
Oh! mother, Thy glimses are like
The flashes of the sun
Drops of love shedding from thee are
Similar to the moonlids of Heaven.
