Online Petition to Prime Minister of India for removal of PAP

Dear Friend:
We, the Manipuri people and the friends of Manipur from all over the world strongly oppose the restrictions of visit to Manipur by foreigners under the Protected Area Permit (PAP) System imposed to Manipur State by the Government of India. We find PAP repressive, discriminatory and having potential to severely harm the economy and competitiveness of the state.
We are aware that previous proposals from the Chief Minister Manipur, the Minister Tourism Manipur and several other interest groups about removal of PAP from Manipur state remained unheeded.
Manipuri Association of Canada therefore is launching a global online petition in this regard.
Please go through the petition and its background information at the following link.
