Our Resurrection
- a 10th Anniversary collection -
By: Eastern Dark *
Though appreciated and popular a lot locally, and, despite comprising itself with former members of two nationally top graded and much acclaimed premier bands, the newly formed EASTERN DARK was never a part of the 'National and its beyond' musical scenario prior to the entry of something crucially Important into its life...
Inevitable compulsion of those days was: If one wants to get recognition of a large kind, one had to achieve a "Champ position" or something like that on a National level mega competition and such contests. Yes, pretty sadly, that was the only possibly practical means to achieve that. This was earlier to the crucial event that happened to our lives...
Quite contrary to the demand of the situation, for a band like EASTERN DARK, having so many extremely experienced veterans was a disadvantage, or to be precise, a curse in disguise. Many of us have already been decorated with musical laurels in the past via many of those so called premier National Rock Contests that most of us in the band started treating Rock Contests as some sort of childish and amateurish ventures.
So, was that the end of the road for EASTERN DARK to claim its rightful musical shares?
No way! We were rescued!
Yah, indeed, we were rescued!!
And everybody knew who rescued us then.
For without you, 'E-Pao!', nobody could have ever felt EASTERN DARK like 'THIS'. It's only because of you. Yes, I shall repeat, It's only because of YOU "E-Pao".
Dear "E-Pao!", may the Almighty bless you with all his "Best and Everything" to enable you to serve the humanity even better for many thousand years to come.
A HEARFELT HAPPY TENTH ANNIVERSARY "E-Pao!"
