Let's rejoice
for the season sweet has come
to reign in our midst, to reverberate our lives
with echo of sweet scented thoughts and moments.
Let's sing out loud and clear
for the celebration has begun
sanctifying our grey tainted hours
of sorrow, misery, pain and sense of loss.
Let's bow before this holy hour now
and open our arms wide enough
to welcome and embrace this moment of change
and dance to this rhythm of the end of the worst
making way for a hopeful new day…
Today we feel good or at the least, are trying to set aside sad feelings from our lives. The hours of the day inspires us to be optimistic. Not that something materially compact has dawn into our lives but it can however be said that the season is sweet and kind.
Another autumn ends leading way for the winter to enter into our lives. This season change has promises intact and has notes of happy hours to brighten up our days. The season of festivity is charming indeed and what reason do we find more endearing indeed than this to hold into our arms to make our minds go into a celebratory mood.
There are many reasons that mankind finds for evoking an argument and a fight. There are many elements that offend us and make us go hay-wire with madness. Then why can't we take this opportunity and for once, lead ourselves to a better way of thinking and rejoicing.
Let's take this moment and hold it tight. The festive mood must be the beginning point for many more happy hours to follow. This can be made possible if and only if we make sure that we open our minds to see the beauty that underlines this season so endearing.
The Lai Haraoba festival has already marked the beginning of this process. The collective spirit that is so tall and grand is once again revived. Not that we consciously do it but it's the moment that is in itself one of the strongest binding factor. Individuals belonging to different age group join the holy march to pay a visit to our deity "Ema Panthoibi".
Seeing her image sanctifies the devotee and cleanses his or her self, thereby delivering the sense of a rebirth in a lifetime. Not only in terms of a religious sense, but also in terms of the whole ambience that such a sacred occasion brings along, in an enchanting way this season sweet brushes away all the dirt from our lives in a symbolical manner.
We feel good and our moods are high with the beauty of the hour. Such a moment is truly a boon from the Almighty and once again our minds are prepared to welcome many more happy hours as such. The promises that this season hold in its bosom mark the origin of many more season sweet to our world.
The year is almost coming to an end but there is nothing to be gloomy about. This end sure holds promising new beginnings and the memorable hours for us to cherish with the starting of a new year. Many more happy hours are awaiting us like the grand "Ningol Chakouba" day next month and once again all has been gifted with a preoccupation regarding how to celebrate the day.
The beauty of a festive season is the way it channelizes human emotions into the best's of its forms. The power of human bonding (family bonding) is redefined and strengthened like never before. It's like adding more soul into the body of a living relationship thus converting it into a solid body frame.
As I have frankly stated in my lines in the poem aforementioned, let's be ready to embrace this season change that's worth a million or is priceless in its true sense. Let's celebrate the beauty of life and our existence by absorbing the best this season brings forth. Let's not forget that life must be lived to the fullest.
Let's drink it to its last bit and sing the song of happy thoughts in the grandest of ways. Life and its endearing hours must be valorized and celebrated. If taken life and its seasons as an ode then we must never hesitate or have a second thought about accepting it.
We must give such an hour the maximum of space in our lives so that our mind finds a healthy avenue to rejuvenate itself. Never to be forgotten is the fundamental truth that life is short.
So let's not take any happy moments for granted and instead try our best to suck out the juices of life content from its container. Let hail up this hour and try to assimilate it in the best's of possible manners so that we live our life to our best satisfaction emotionally.
