Non-Dimasas fume, to set up demand for division of district

The memorandum of settlement (MoS) signed in New Delhi by Dimasa rebels with the Centre and the state government to end insurgency in the trouble-torn Dima Hasao district has angered the non-Dimasa tribes living in the district, including the Nagas, Kukis, Hmars.
At the same time, the Bengalis, the second largest community (approximately 32,000) in the district, continue to remain tight-lipped over the agreement.
