Greetings from Manthan Award South Asia Secretariat, New Delhi, INDIA!

The purpose of writing this mail is to inform you that we are in the process of identifying ICT based projects that are using Digital Content and Services in an innovative way to benefit the Consumers and Masses at large. Across our research we found about your initiatives in ICT domain, thus inviting you to participate in the Manthan Award South Asia (MASA) 2011 for your various ICT based programmes.

Following is our formal call for nomination for your consideration:

RECOGNIZING INNOVATIONS IN DIGITAL CONTENT APPLICATIONS & SERVICES FOR MASSES

The Manthan Award South Asia 2011 (http://manthanaward.org) recognizes and felicitates emerging & budding e-content innovators. Manthan Award is a first of its kind initiative in India to recognize the best practices in e-Content and Creativity across India & South Asia. This award was instituted by the Digital Empowerment Foundation under the framework of World summit Award along with the Department of Information Technology, Government of India & other organizations to promote ICT for masses in the social sector & public empowerment.

MASA-2011 is being organized in partnership with Internet & Mobile Association of India, MINT, NIXI, DNet from Bangladesh, CAN from Nepal and so on across South Asia. We are seeking nominations from 8 South Asian countries for their innovations in Digital content applications & services for masses.

We are keen to hear from you if you have one or more application fits in any of the 15 broad categories of Manthan Award south Asia-2011. We are Inviting you to participate in this mission to celebrate innovations and help spreading the word about this initiative.
