When festive season of Yaoshang comes, instantly felt in our heart and stuck in our mind is that of those uneasy moments of the 1st few months when we came down to Pune for the 1st time. There were inevitable bouts of homesickness. We started realizing the love and care of our parents and dear ones. As the time past on, we were adjusted to Pune. But when the Yaoshang festival knocks our door, we felt the blues of home sick!!!.
With this emotional feeling MSAP executive members start working on to provide very homely atmosphere to everyone from Manipur staying in Pune.
This time again, on 2nd March, 2013, the Manipur Students’ Asscociation, Pune (MSAP), organized a Thabal Chongba program at MES Boy’s High School, Tilak Road, Pune. The program was blended with mouthwatering Manipuri foods provided by our Manipuri food stalls and interesting Children’s painting activities.
People from different communities of Manipur, students and families residing at Pune and nearby cities like Mumbai, Nagar and Nashi etc, participated the festival. The eve was filled with fun of Mini Housie draw. Those food stalls made the Thabal a real Thabal Lampak that we experience in Manipur.

Everybody were well dressed in either traditional dress or decent attires and well discipline which helped in maintaining the true spirit of the Thabal. Witnessing the cheerful Thabal and civic of the attendees the local authorities expressed their appreciation.
The MSAP team paid gratitude to all the attendees and appreciation to all the elders who had turned up in time and attended the program till the last minute. They also thanked all the media persons without which Thabal publicity may not be well publicized. They also gave the credit for the grand success of the Thabal to all the elders who had supported all the way long, concerned local authorities and all the volunteers who rendered their support with heart and soul.
The time constraint brought to the end of the Thabal with thanks giving speech from the secretary of MSAP followed by a round of Thabal and greeted thunderous applause by the attendees of the Thabal with cheerful smiles on everybody's face.
With Warm Regards,
