To Eche Sharmila

Eche, you are the bravest woman I have ever known.

You are our inspiration to fight and know our RIGHTS to which we the kangleichas are living.

For you Eche, Words are not worthy enough to express completely and we love you so much.

We are brought up in a land where army and uniform personal rules. We do not know What DEMOCRACY means, we simply know DEMOCRACY is just practising adult francise and where right to life is just merely known in textbooks in our High School days.

We are bound to live in such situation of supressions, killings, rapes that most people think that it is their way of life as if it is their Birth-Right and they hardly complained.

In our land if we speak out about our rights, we are treated as underground and if we do not speak out, we will live a life in hell and this will still go on for the coming years. So wake up kangleichas, lets fight for our RIGHTS.

And there is a tradition of Manipur culture that when a child cries, in order to stop them from crying we used to say "Tapta Lak ee" (Tapta is coming) but now-a-day it is completely replaced by "Siphai Lak ee"(police is coming), then child stops crying.

This means that the psyche of Kangleichas is fear, they do not know when they will be shot dead, it can happen anytime to anyone and Life is just meaningless. In a land where Life is meaningless, What do you think it will be?????

Eche we are with you, So never ever feel despair.

And we should fight for our RIGHTS that is Birth-Right for every human being on this earth.

We appeal to the Govt. of India if you have a little love for people of Manipur, Repeal the Draconian law, AFSPA, and Give the RIGHTS to Life that is prerequisite for every man on this earth.
