Lets make our world a better place to live

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi with his wit and understanding in existence of life rightly quoted “Nature has provide enough for our needs not for our greed”. We,homosapiens ,a wise human being,with our appallingly cunning and destructively clever exploited a rich natural resources which our the nature has endowed for us to a degree which cannot be replenish in the span of our generation. Despite the depleting used of natural resources,it is quite apparent that there still a exist a severe economic disparity in the world indicating the demographic exploitation as well.

Some of the cities are shining with a glitzy high-rise and on the other hand there are tens of thousands of people living under the abject poverty,filling in the slum,not so sure about their next meal. It may be traced back to the colonial exploitation of the world by the western power. Though after the second world war,the face of the world has changed drastically with the liberation of many colonial-rule states and many steps have been taken by the international body to bring the world into equal and just society,respect for human rights and guarantee to live with dignity to every human and inspite of many agreement and treaty signed for reconciliation,there is still a hangover and does not changed completely the attitude of the developed countries.

They,in their hegemonic principle finds another means to conquer the world – this time economically. Many Trans-national corporations TNCs also called MNCs established their market-based foothold in many developing countries in the field of capital-intensive areas like electronic and technology called as Technotronic dominating the domestic market. The world most reputed body United Nation even experience the inclination of monopoly by the in the initial phase of its formation where U.S. wanted to dominate the administration.

With this nature of hegemony, here comes the most destructive and lethal weapon Nuclear arm. Many world towering figure have at many times in the world history declared nuclear weapon serve no purpose but to prevent other country from using it. The resources used in the production of nuclear weapons and other defence materials are to be spend in the poverty alleviating programme and the mentality of conquering other countries are completely swept away from our mind, equitability, social justice and harmony will be around the globe. Now ,cutting across the continent,there are 60,000 nuclear weapons accounting for a destructive power equivalent to a million hiroshima bombs which can consume the whole world when exploded at once. About 50 million people are directly and indirectly engaged in military activities world wide.

These include 25 million people in the regular arm forces,some 4 million civilians in defence departments,about 5 million people directly employed in production of weapons and military equipments,and half a million scientists and engineers engaged in R&D (research and development) for military purposes.

Now, imagine how much money spend for workers’ salary and acquirement of materials for defence purpose in world’s economy. Lets ask to ourselves,did military activities and defence bring development to our life? The answer is big NO. Defence has no meaning,it only breed from power appetite. Now,another question is how shall we stop nuclear weapon production? Possessing of nuclear arm is to prevent other from using against you.

Here comes the situation of who comes first chicken or egg? There is a civil nuclear proliferation treaty signed by many countries for power production like electricity,but man began cheating right from the days of Adam loves cheating,if he can cheat God then there is every reason to cheat his fellow human. Recently settled agreement between the six global power and Iran is the great example in our nose.

Tran is well aware that international agency are against the production of nuclear materials for defence activities but Iran is conveniently enriching Uranium for production of lethal weapon. We homosapiens,a wise man are too wise that we no longer used our resources wisely and appropriately. If there is no such phenomenon occurred in this world ,the world will be a much better place too live in, equality, social justice and love for fellow human being will prevail in the four corner of the world. Man built too much wall and not enough bridge.There will be no third world countries,no first world countries but we all be living in the same social system if the available resources are distributed equally to the whole world. Let me share with all of you how I foolishly look at the world in my younger days.

I thought Americans are selected people and no one is superior to them in this world and they have unique value and character by itself. Yes.off course they are superior to some extent when we look at the economic pattern of the world. They have higher per-capita income, higher living standards and they are no more a rural or agrarian economy like ours, but not to view materialistically they are more or less the same with us.

They think what we think,they talk what we talk and they have many problems like us. With this eagerness to know about the social system of the world,I bagan a funny but purposeful extensive research social network service(SNS). I interact with U.S. nationals people from different walks of life form various other countries through facebook. I enquire social,political and economic issues.

During this research I unearthed chunks of problems out of my imagination. And the most funny thing is a woman in her early 50’s American nationals could not answer my question. She is so stupid and unaware that she even don’t know the capital of her country even though she is educate enough to used facebook.. When i asked her what is the capital of U.S.A. ? Her response was Newyork if not philadelphia ,I’m guessing!. Now ,I came to realized how I look to my high school building and the reality is totally different.

Thanks to social network site for letting me know the social system and the truth of the world,if not I’ll end up my life having the inferiority complex mindset. Lets observe ourselves what is the meaning of controlling other territorial land or country.What is next after conquering Asia,Africa and Latin America,there is no anything special in this country. Human desire is endless,we would probably want something more after we get our desire. Let us remember while we have a desire, we also have a limited time here in this world to live. When we die, we leave this world with nothing in our possession,we do not carry along Africa or Asian continent with us.. Lets try to live with satisfaction. Lets value human dignity.

If we have tolerance and knows our duties well,this world will be free from any clash and conflict.Live a fullest life and fulfill your dreams but not at the expense of others. If you want to live a complete life here in this world,live simple,calm and composed. And if you want to have a happy family,marry,have children and wait for your turn for Gods call and leave the world peacefully and enjoy eternally in the heaven.

Otherwise if you continue to follow the trend of this world, it will go on in the same fashion-confrontation and negotiation, never ending, for instance china share a close ties with India when they are in trouble,India providing a medical support but after china began gaining a well-off condition turn its sword to India on the territorial issue of Arunachal pradesh and Ladakh resulted into 1962 war.

And another incidence spark-up row between U.S. and India which I consider like my mother stoning our neighbours goat for destroying our fence-where India and U.S. after sharing close and vital relationship eroded their ties in the back drop of the arrest of Deputy Consul-general Devyani Khobragade, while U.S. maintained the legitimacy of arrest in accord with their law, India shot back in agitation that Strip-search and cavity-search of the consulate like to a normal criminal is clear indication of disrespect to the country and in return decline to meet with the congressional delegates. So,the world system is in a mess,and it is a cycle of friend and foe.

To make the world a better place to live in is to turn hate to love, war to peace and suppressed to freedom.
