Kangujam Kanarjit Singh conferred 'Indo-Nepal Friendship International Award'
Kangujam Kanarjit Singh (22) S/O Kangujam Ibotombi Singh and Kangujam (O) Nungshitombi Devi of Bashikhong wangkhei loumanbi mapal, was conferred the prestigious "Indo - Nepal Friendship International Award" by the Indo-Nepal Dalit Friendship Organization on 10th November 2013 at Kathmandu, Nepal in recognition of outstanding works for the youths of India.
KK Singh, is now presently working as Director and Acting Chief of Asia- Pacific Region in UNESCO Youth Foundation, Bangkok. And also He is the founder of Club25 International Manipur (an international organization for the promotion of Young Blood donors which has its branches in 84 countries worldwide). Formerly, he was a volunteer at United Nation Organization (UNO), New York. In the past, he was working as a Trained Graduate Teacher in Physical Education at HRD Academy, Ghari. He is a product of Manipur University, Canchipur, imphal.
He involves in various social issues, donated bloods 16 times at 21 years of age, growing up as as a social leader in the state of Manipur. He is working to stop human trafficking, to promote rural education, to create awareness for disaster management. He is also the Project Co-ordinator of the Medical awareness Movement in Asia Pacific (MAMA Project for disaster management of UNESCO), for india.
His main work is with the youths to create awareness of Blood donation, to donate blood 25 times at 25 year of age, and also move to rural villages for the awareness of drugs and HIV/AIDS. He was also awarded "Health Minister's Shield Award" by the Govt. of Manipur in the year 2013. Moreover, he is also nominated for Dr. Ambedkar International award 2013" that will be felicited on Dec. 10, 2013 at New Delhi.
He is also the author of the Books "The Living Leader", "Inner Strength", " Image Phanek Machet", "Khangdabna lallure"and "Lairabagesu Laman". He also attend and presented various research paper in various national and international seminar, conference and workshop. He visited Holland, Indonesia, Thailand, Bangladesh, Nepal, New York, Malaysia, China, vietrnam and Hong kong.
