KRA (A) serves ultimatum on Manipur cadres

Kuki Revolutionary Army (KRA-Assam) has served an ultimatum on KRA leaders/cadres from Manipur stationed in Assam as “mercenaries” and has directed them to leave Assam and their hideout in Dimapur area with immediate effect. KRA Assam said if they defied the directive, they would be held responsible for any untoward incidents.
In a statement, KRA Assam chairman Letjang and ‘defence I/C Assam’ Thanghen on behalf of the indigenous Kuki people of Karbi Anglong and KRA cadres hailing from Karbi Anglong district Assam said that former KRA chairman Lhukhomang Hangsing from his undisclosed ‘hideout’ in Dimapur collaborated with high ranking cadres from Manipur to “quench his thirst for monetary gains” by engaging one James Meitei who was designated as project officer.
