Grand Convention and Music Competition (Nungshiba Khongel 2017) at Sylhet

GRAND C0NVENTION AND MUSIC COMPETITION sole representative organization of Manipuri "Bangladesh Manipuri Chhatra Samity, BAMCHHAS" has been successfully organized on last Friday 31 March, 2017 at "Rikabibazar" of "Kobi Nazrul Auditorium" in Sylhet.

Presenting the National Anthem participated by the Manipuri students, the 1st session of the program held at 10 AM. where the members of the founding body of BAMCHAS along with present members were participated. After the students conference MUSIC COMPETITION (NUNGSHIBA KHONJEL 2017) in Manipuri & Bengali language was held by the manipuri students.

Most significantly this innovative program has done by the inspiration of American immigrant Ashem Satyajit Singh, vice chairman & the founder Chief Adviser of BAMCHAS , with the collaboration of BAMCHAS members, a sprightly music competition titled "NUNGSHIBA KHONGEL 2017" participated by the Manipuri Students was held.

In our country renowned tv & radio artist Nilmony Singha And Music director Md. Abul Kashem was the judge of the music competition. A discussion program was held at the 2nd session at 3:00 pm. Chief guest S Rina Devi, Bangladesh Manipuri Mahila Samity and Special Guest Thongum Chandrakirty President Manipuri Sanskritic Parishad, Associate Professor. L Nandalal Singha, Chairman NM Educational Trust was present there .

Poet and Dramatist Ahaibam Ranjit - The adviser of BAMCHAS , Y Chandrajit, Managar, Mukktijuddha Jadughar, Dhaka. M Uttam Singha (Ratan), Senior Teacher And Adviser of BAMCHAS K, Biren Singha , K Anonto and General Secretary of BAMCHAS S, Pradip Singha And Joyasree Sinha gave their valuable speeches on the discussion program.

In the inauguration conference the speakers said that the organization which was established on 1984 has to overcome many obstacles to step on its 32 year with success. The organization "BAMCHHAS" has played an important role in the society by social activities like: Education encouraging project, supplying textbooks, primary and secondary scholarship and Brilliant student reception etc.

After the discussion programe prize ceremony was given among the winner of the music competition . And finally new active committee (2017-2019) was sworn and introduced on that day. Bangladesh For the next two years (2017-2019), Bikash Kanthoujam Pankaj is to act as President, H, Monilal Singha and A, Avijit Singha as joint Vice President, S, Pradip Singha as General Secretary, L, Sumit Singha is to act as Deputy General Secretary.

Others are; Treasurer: Laishram Anik Singha, Organizing secretary: Khanthoujam Supta Devi, Co-organizing secretary: H. Pallabi Sinha, secretary of female student affairs:Pipi Sarma, Female student affairs Co-secretary: Adhara Sinha, Secretary of cultural affairs: K Tripti Devi Devi, Assistant Secretary of cultural affairs Joysree Sinha : Sports Secretary: Biky Sarma, Deputy Sports secretary: M Darpan Singha, Secretary of Literature and publishing affairs: Thungam Chingkheingba, Publicity secretary: Nishan Singha, Co-publicity Secretary: ShaimKumar Singha, Office secretary: Sourab Singha, Social Welfare Secretary: Th. Sanalaima and Executive members: Opi Benergee, Dipti Sinha, Subajit Singha,Y Bishajit, Arati Devi,Anju Singha, Ashem Krisna Borna,and Hasirani Devi.

At the end of discussion program a cultural program directed by P, Bidhan Singha, the director of Nirjhrini Najrul Sangit school was participated by the winner of music competition: Sushama Sinha, Diva Sinha, Ashem Meiri , Abinash Singha, Bithika Sinha And Maibam Leima. Manipuri Folk dance was presented by Ashem Sushama Sinha . Before the prize giving event a souvenir "JAGORON" was prevailed by BAMCHAS.

The main attraction of the cultural program was the drama show "TELANGA" written and produced by Poet and Dramatist Ahaibam Ranjit was performed by the participants of BAMCHAS. It was appreciated by the spectators. The whole anniversary was propounded by K Tripty Devi , S Pradip and K Supta Devi.
