GoI, WC on threshold of signing Naga solution
Nagaland Post | Dimapur, Feb 24 (NPN)
Government of India representative and Interlocutor for Naga Peace Talks, R.N. Ravi and Working Committee (WC) Naga National Political Groups (NNPGs) Monday held a closed door meeting in New Delhi, in pursuit of the goal of signing the final agreement to the Naga Political issue, the outcome of which was termed as “very positive and fruitful” by both negotiating parties.
Asked whether government of India and NNPGs will ink the final agreement without NSCN (I-M), Kitovi replied, “I don’t think government of India has rejected them. All of us– NNPGs and Nagas in general – want NSCN (I-M) to be part of the final agreement. It is not that we don’t want them, they are not willing. Our ideology is same but there are differences of approach.”
