2013 Geoff Marsh Scholarship for Indian Students at University of Westminster in UK
University of Westminster offers scholarships for Indian students. The awards are offered to pursue full-time master’s degree at the university in the field of facilities and property management, property finance, real estate development, urban and regional planning, international business economics, international finance, applied economics or investment and risk finance. Selections are based on the academic excellence, development potential, financial need and interest in a career in real estate. Applicants applying for the scholarship must submit their applications till 31st May 2013.
Scholarships are awarded to study facilities and property management, property finance, real estate development, urban and regional planning, international business economics, international finance, applied economics or investment and risk finance.
Course: This scholarship is available for pursuing Master’s degree level.
Eligibility: You must be from India and hold an offer for a full-time Masters degree at the University for one of the following courses: Facilities and Property Management, Property Finance, Real Estate Development, Urban and Regional Planning, International Business Economics, International Finance, Applied Economics or Investment and Risk Finance.
This scholarship is in memory of Geoff Marsh, one of the pioneers of housing research in the UK and a Visiting Professor at the School of Architecture and the Built Environment. The funds for the living costs for the scholar have been raised by friends and colleagues of the late Professor Marsh.
What does it cover? Full tuition fee waiver, accommodation, living expenses, flights to and from London and and a salaried one-year work placement at Investment Property Databank on successful completion of your course (subject to a successful interview at the company and visa conditions).
Selection Criteria: Selection of applications should be based on academic excellence, development potential, financial need, and interest in a career in real estate.
