Electricity in Manipur

The term electricity, the power, the energy is very essentially attached in the lifestyle in the modern society, today.

Notwithstanding the necessity in life it is a part of life in the civilized society. No electricity no industry, no electricity no movement, no electricity no education, no electricity no speed of life, no electricity no meaning of life; in the sense- no life without electricity.

At such advanced stage of life Manipur is such a state where one hour electric supply in twenty four hours life in a day roar in happiness with the compliments.

Wah! Today we enjoy one hour light, since two day before we were not getting light for recharging inverter. What a statuesque in the city of Imphal ! it would be a wonderful day!

Many complaints have been lodged individually as well as publicly no solution could bring by the government till date. Assembly questions from the MLAs have push to the authority. No one is ready to give proper reply, or any concrete decision has yet taken so far in this regard.

Therefore Manipur i.e. Imphal valley is in dark age after sixty two years of independent India. Come a little step up to Senapati district there is no problem of light. There is no problem of electricity in Nagaland, Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura and other states of the East.

Why and how government of Manipur is unable to sort out the power problem? For what reason Manipur is so handicap, to administer such problems, which is human attaché in every walk of life? Why, nerves of the people of Manipur are so weak and unable to express their pain and grievances?

Why, the people of Manipur are so reluctant to come forward for the right cause; and so dubbed their morale on the part of right of expression? Something is hidden wrong on the part of public activities due to lack of proper education, misappropriation of leadings in the public, to be discussed.

Over all deprivation would come out of lack of administrations in past, present, also having no future yard stick for administration. Watch on every step of own day to day life! Keep proper supervision over the local administration and institutions which touched you and me too, if we need a future of Manipur for tomorrow.

This is real consideration to be taken up for Manipur today. The matter of electricity which I took up first is nothing as it is visible to all. There are thousands of invisible characters in the society have to take up in hand of the people of Manipur.

For example: the road, the education, the health, the supply, the water supply, the employment, the other communication systems of Manipur, the higher education in Manipur, the transport, the commercial provisions, the tourism, the marketing, the hospitality etc. etc are innumerable left over corners have to close up through debate in the public for mass education.

Therefore, I took up the grand problem in the people of Manipur which is in the cool freeze of the government comfort, but need of the hour is already over flown overhead, from the tolerable mark of the people of Manipur.

1. First discussion is; who is defaulter for the sort supply of electricity in Manipur?
2. Whether government of Manipur is neglecting to sort out the problem or there is lack of awareness of the people on the part of value of electricity, or lack of education about evading tax is offence.
3. If government is not ready to take action against the alleged tax evading consumer.
4. Is there any communication gap in between government and people, or is that the symptoms of paralyzed staffs in the electricity department and supervisory staffs in the government.
5. Why people are not ready to launch a mass demonstration for the in capable government?
6. Are entire elements in Manipur paralyzed?
7. Why underground outfits are keeping mum since they are so interested for the well being of the state?
8. Are they not suffer, their parents, family members are not suffer for power?
9. Who are responsible for the limitations and irresponsibility? Who will hold responsible for the in capable?
10. Will the people shoulder the responsibility to an individual? As people of Manipur has the habit of blaming to the Chief Minister, Power Minister etc?
11. Why the people of Manipur would not take the responsibility on own!
