Earth work excavation at Old Thumbuthong, Bamon Leikai
- Date: 15 Days from April 23 2013 -
Executive Engineer, Bridge Division, PWD has informed that
earth work excavation for casting pile cap of abutment
of the eastern side (Bamon Leikai side) for newly constructed RCC Bridge
at Old Thumbuthong is going on.
As a result, approach road of the existing Bailey Bridge on the Bamon Leikai side (eastern side) has been slided partially and,
therefore, vehicles except two-wheelers are prohibited to ply on the existing Bailey Bridge
for at least 15 days with immediate effect to avoid any untoward incidents.
