Pukhrambam Lalit Singh, Ph.D., assistant professor of internal medicine, nephrology division, recently
received research grants from the American Diabetes Association and the National Kidney Foundation for
$899,394 and $100,000, respectively.
Dr. Singh will focus his research on diabetic kidney disease, the No. 1 cause of end-stage renal disease in the United
States.
