Donation of relief materials by Nungai Village, Noney to Moidangpok
Normal lives all over the world in general and Manipur in particular, are affected by the spread of COVID-19. To thwart the spread of the pandemic government has declared various measures including lockdown.
Owing to the imposition of restrictions to the movement of general public, there is shortage of essential items and vegetables in both the hills and valley of the state.
In a brotherly gesture, representatives of the Nungtek Karuanganuam Churches Fellowship (NKCF) lead by Pastor Pou Khuigai, Chairman, NKCF handed over various food items donated by Inpui Tribe of Nungtek, Noney to the villagers of Moidangpok.
Pastor stated that he brings the well wishes and blessings from his village for the villagers of Moidangpok.
Welcoming the relief team, Dr. Aheibam Dinamani Singh, Joint Secretary, Social Development Association emphasized on the need to stay at our homes to break the chain of the virus.
He stated that the food items donated is a clear message and blessings from Inpui Tribe to protect all of us from the deadly pandemic. At such trying hours only the brothers and sisters will come to help each other, that is why the Nungtek villagers are having concerns for Moidangpok he further added.
“The relation between the tribes and villagers of Moidangpok is from the time unmemorable. Such kind actions by villagers of Nungtek are further strengthening the brotherly relation between us.” stated L. Pritam Singh, Advisor, Recent Youth Club, Moidangpok.
Shri. A. Ananda Singh appreciated the pain taken by the members of Inpui Tribe to collect the food items for Moidangpok. He further stated at such times we need to stand united and such generous act will reinforce the relation between the people of hills and valleys.
