Condemn inhumanity act against Students by Police in ILP protest

The Shillong Manipuri Students Union, Shillong strongly condemn the inhumanity act in the ongoing ILP protest against the Students by Police. This inappropriate act of orders from Government must be resolved and appropriate solutions must be brought as soon as possible before the situation get worst. It can be noted that from the prevailing action of Manipur Police holding the Law & Order , Power in Hand shows clearly that how hazardous, how anti-social, how illiterate people they are to the People of Manipur in common.

The Union also stated that the ILP must be implemented in the State for the safeguard of the Indigenous groups by analyzing the Pros & the Cons. The Union demands the Government to Implement ILP in Manipur and also punishment or strict actions against those Police personal who tortured or torturing the students in Manipur should be booked without further delay.

Government should not forget that the success and development of a State also depends on the students, contributing to the achievement of good and well defined social environment and a State as a whole. Guiding, maintaining and building a good relation with Students to run the future smoothly in peace as well as in favorable condition of the State is must.

Unfortunately, in our State it is seen and read that our future students are brutally being beaten like animals, ill- treated and such an act is inconsolable which shows the inhuman nature of certain individuals. What we see now from the performed act is no individual is safe anymore in this rapid and crucial misused power. People’s emotions are inculcated with frustrations and anger due to what had happened and is still happening. Such an act should be avoided, dismissed and deliberately tuned off for the better growing of the state as well as creating humanity in the mind of each individual.
