Gardening at #EmaKeithel in loving memory of #BelindaMorse !!

#EmaKeithel must be immensely proud to see the growing number of kind individuals with blooming hearts who have gathered at this historic Keithel to undertake a few hours of gardening and help the continuing process of transforming this historic market into a blooming pride for all of us.

Our immense gratitude the Honourable MP, Ojha Thokchom Meinya, volunteers of Manipur Red Cross society, #KsetrimayumSurjit ( Person behind ‘One Shop-One flower' at #Kakching Keithel ) Sayol helping hands, Kangla Facebook lup and most importantly, the many Ema/Eben who showered the Keithel with their caring acts and many inspirational words.

Dr Meinya shared with the many caring people of how he came to know Belinda Morse through her book on Ethel Grimwood and Manipur, Calamity and courage - Queen of the Raj and collection of photographs during the 19th century British rule and meeting herself and her husband, Sir Jeremy Morse at London.

Dr Meinya described on how he was encouraged by the gardening work at Ema Keithel and #LadyMorse Involvement including the the inspirational support shown by Belinda's family at her thanksgiving service.

#EmaKeithel must be #smiling with pride to know that the honourable MP would be helping from MPLADF fund,to ensure atleast 21 beautiful planters ( Rs 6000 each) in and around the 3 market blocks, planted with beautiful Bamboo trees and helping this heritage into a #PublicGreenArea.

This was announced in a very humble yet very engaging discussion among the many Gardeners and Ema/Eben and the process of making the planters are underway.

Please be inspired to know that the #ManipurRedCross society under the leadership of #DrArunkumar, would be part of the growing community of blooming hearts 💕 who would be undertaking gardening activities every week and help our Gardeners who are there every day.

It is a indeed a grand day to see so many responsible and caring individuals especially dignitaries like Ojha Meinya sincerely showing with visible acts of care to our Ema Keithel and hoping many more such days will follow !!
