Beginners Steps to earn money on the Internet
Mansingh Nepram *
I really don't care how you came to this page but now that you have reached please follow the next instructions quietly. Take a pause, breathe 1.....2.....3. Calm down. OK. Done. Now you have truly arrived.
There used to be a time when I used to type "Beginners steps to earn money on the internet" and all I got on Google, Bing and other search engines was how the internet was a mighty gold mine and how some "elite-know-how-geeky" people were earning from it.
Guess what? After experiencing the online world for more than a decade I have realised that 97% of their stories were more fake than a Santa story and the remaining 3% who really earned never had their *secrets* leak out like all the wealthy business people do but yes! They DO earn.
If you still have doubts about how the internet world is going to help you bring some extra cash or disbelieve whether the remaining 3% really earns money or not then STOP RIGHT THERE. Click the 'x' of your browser tab and enjoy whatever you were doing before reaching up to this page. This article is simply NOT for you. Thank You.
Still there eh? Great. If you are reading this, know that I have considered you as genuine believer and I truly believe you wouldn't go away without gaining something new after reading the rest of the lines.
Beginners steps to earn money on the internet.
* Get a good reliable internet connection:
You might find the above line as a simple or stupid suggestion but I am dead serious about this. I still remember the time when I had slow connections (3,4 kb/s) in Imphal and used to lose all the interest every time before even opening my homepage ie. Google home page. Moreover let's say I care for you. I don't want you to pull yours hairs every time your connections starts to s**k. I know you do. Presently I am using a 2GB Vodafone Internet pack which is both cheap and reliable. It works for me. Suit yourself, Connect wisely.
* Open an e-mail account:
Duh! Boring tip right? BIG NO! I know you have an email account. Take it aside. Make a new one. Why? Internet is a world full of democrat spammers. They work by, of and for the people. They simply don't discriminate which part of the world you are living. Yahoo allows free users to block max 500 different mail ids. You don't want to use every one of it, do you? That's why make a new one. It will be better for you if you become a new google client.
* Get yourself a tax-id card:
This is VERY important. In order to verify yourself as a real identity to the rest of the world you need a valid tax-id. Your college/job ids/driving licence are also a proof that you for real but they don't talk when money and internet world comes in. In India, tax-id card is also popularly known as PAN card. If you are an Indian resident you can easily get yourself a card from income-tax dept site or from your local agent.
* Make a Paypal/AlertPay Account:
This is by far the most important step for any beginner. Paypal and Alertpay are the sites where most of your earning and spending transaction will take place. At the end of the day you want your hard earn money to reach to your pocket, isn't it? In short, this is your online bank. Remember, you need to have atax-id number in order to make a paypal account. Make sure to fill up all the right information wherever required. You can sign up a free Paypal account here.
One of my paypal transactional proof in case you are very curious :)
That's it for now. The above points are the four most important "Beginners Steps to earn money on the Internet". I really wish I had someone to guide me all along my journey. DO get all the above points *tick* by my next post. "WE" are in it to earn it now.
