Bandh Supporters vandalize passenger vehicles at Jiri

On the two different place of NH-37 the bandh supporters vandalized 8 vehicles today while the vehicles are heading from Jiribam- Tamenglong and Imphal.

Among the vehicles 4 of the vehicles were vandalized at Jiribam at around 9 A.M today. Of the four vandalized vehicles, 1 passenger cruiser was vandalized at the forest gate of Sorok Atingbi, Jiribam which was heading from Jiribam to Imphal and the other 3 were vandalized over the bridge of Gularthol, Jiribam which was heading from Jiribam to Tamenglong by the bandh supporters of 72 hours Manipur bandh against the killing of security personnel’s of Manipur by NSCN- IM.

The vehicles which was vandalized at Jiribam bearing registration No. AS-11CC1391, AS-11AC6870, AS- 11BC 6096, AS-11 BC 6370.

As report from reliable source, on the other incidents the bandh supporters of UNC vandalized 4 vehicles at Oinamlong on NH-37 in which included 2 passenger cruisers heading for Imphal from Jiribam and the other two was private vehicles one each Maruti 800 and Santro.

As per latest report of today, due to the bandh on NH-37, 413 goods carrying vehicles are stranded at Jiribam in which included 100 Oil Tankers, 32 LPG bullets and 281 other commodities loaded vehicles.
