( useful information on Yek-Salais)

The Atingkok Sidaba created the earth, the world by creation of Lairemba, Lairembi from his entire skin of the body and brought out the Sanamahi and commanded Him to create the entire beings including human beings and then the Sidiba Mapu (Absolute God) gives the Thawai (soul) to the entire beings and He created the human beings after the image fells on his pupil.
A loving child Pakhangba was given birth by Leimarel Sidabi. He is known as Pakhangba because he knows the father who moves round seven times the sacred Altar of Sidaba and he became the king of the earth.
God Pakhangba married seven Lairembis created by Sidaba and those Lairembis gave birth seven sons who made Seven Salais.
They are known as seven Yek-Salais.
They are:

- Luwang,
- Khuman,
- Angom,
- Moirang,
- Kha-Nganba,
- Chenglei-Leisangthem
