Appeal Government to install Covid-19 test Centre in Nagaland
Kohima, 16th March, 2020
The Naga People’s Front expressed its concern over the rise of the pandemic Covid 19 all over the world, particularly even in India day by day.
The party appreciated the Government of the Day for taking up its effort for the preventive measures in the state and feels that more and stringent effort is required to check and prevent that not a single case of Covid-19 is reported from our state. The virus which is infecting human races like a wild fire all over the world day by day should be tackle collectively.
The party appeal the Government to install a Covid-19 test Centre even in Nagaland as Guwahati test Centre is the only nearest centre available for the Nagaland state, which is difficult for the citizen of Nagaland to avail the facility for its distance and other reasons.
The NPF feels it necessary to point out that the Dimapur Railway station should minutely monitor as thousands of visitors travel every day and hundreds of people are coming to Nagaland through the station, which is very vulnerable.
The party also urged the Government to check the supply and availability of face mask and hand sanitizer as it is reported that the price of the two items has gone skyrocketed. Therefore, the Government agencies should put its effort to curtail down the price rise.
The NPF party called upon the state Government to give its best effort to educate the people even to the remotest areas about the safety measures and express the hope the Government is well equipped with all modern technologies.
Meanwhile, the NPF also called upon the citizens not to remain fear but appeal every Naga believers to uphold one another in prayers so that Almighty God will save us from the pandemic Covid-19.
