E-Pao! Education :: Anything Multiply by Zero = Zero

Anything Multiply by Zero = Zero
- {where GUN tends to ZERO in a Social Mathematics} -

Huidrom Athouba Meetei *

Where & what is the loopholes or hindrances to the developments in the state? Where do all the monetary funds meant for developments of the state goes?

The outcome of the so-called state development plans taken up by the State and Union Government. By simply overlooking to the last few financial years, we can see a big gap of the outcome and proposed programs.

On records (on Government papers) we find many Industries, Factories, NGO's and other many Institutions working for the developments of the state and their financial budgets sanctioned. Many projects had been approved in the State and at least half of its financial requirements had been released from the respective heads/departments/ministries during last few years.

Not surprisingly, none but very few projects are seen. It becomes an open secret to all that for any budget, there is a well calculation of percentages (peoples says there are some fixed percentage for particular departments/Head). Along with the analysis of the state political structure, I feel the need of diagnosis of the common social ailment " corruption" in every section of the society and timely treatment to save it.

Unlike other diseases, this "corruption" easily and directly attack only to the poor majority section of the mass. As far as the so-called elected Governments plans are concerned they are doing their best, we cannot expect much of them every financial years passes and bank balances of few groups pick up their top.

Keeping aside the legality or political correctness of the integration of the state to the Indian Union, it won't be a wise policy to blame to the history back to 1949 only for the under-developments or the present scenario in the state. The jeopardized social, economic and political situations in the state turn a used to game for all sections.

None of the so-called responsible leaders may be of any party or group do not care or do not bother about the future of next generation.

The so and so revolutionary (once upon a time) groups now-a-days are so busy to calculate the percentages of everything (the percentage of their contribution for the mass is negligible in mathematical terms) but forget to calculate the factor of GUN in every problem.

"GUN" like a "ZERO" if multiply any number the result is universally known. It is the fact that GUN nowadays has a very tendency to multiply everything in this society and the result is well known.

Everything multiplied by ZERO remains the same. The same mathematical formula brings the same result in current page of the Manipur.

In the competitive examination of "21st century" obviously getting zero is not good for all. So lets put control to "ZERO" means "GUN".

Lets stop to redefine the statements of "Great Heroes", about guns. Oh I remember one thing to tell you.

"My father is a school teacher (Asst Head Master) in a very remote village, but atleast once in a month the barrels of small guns come to multiply him, because he is a teacher they appoint him to calculate the percentage!!!! ha ha. Can you guess what may be the mathematical problems to him, let me clarify you my father teach Geography and English"

In all aspects it is very hard to find a single line to describe us as a society having vision of our future. We all don't have our own vision of our tomorrow. All we do is " fight for ego-fight for identity", here we need to remember that by the time we think of celebrating our joy, there will be nothing around us.

At that time, again we will fight for our everything against ourselves, we will be lacking behind for a decades, may be more than that. Wise man never hurt himself, we should think a step forward other than today.

Why should we chop our own legs repeatedly, guns are not the solution and not the only way. We should try to climb up to the next step. "Independence" is not everything.

Independence has its own meaning, you or I should not try to impose it to anybody, because he or she has also their own choice/ meaning of Independence. I feel the basic needs of a noble society are social equality, developments, harmony, progressive thoughts and understanding.

The tendency of eagerness should not overcome the reality of life. Remember the universal power of "ZERO".
