Department of Commerce & Industries, Government of Manipur in association with Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) is going to organize an Export Awareness Workshop for the first time in Manipur at Classic Hotel, Imphal on 06/08/2010 (Friday) under the sponsorship of Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India. FIEO set up jointly by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India and private trade and industry is a partner of the Government of India in promoting exports. During the workshop, various advantages of the North Eastern States vis a vis the Look East policy of the Government of India will be highlighted.
Presentations on the Foreign Trade Policy, Govt, of India, the ASIDE scheme and Export Development Fund (EDF) scheme of the Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India shall be the main thrust in this event. Besides, the experts from Export Credit Guarantee Corporation and EXIM Bank shall highlight their services being extended to the exporters.
Interested trader-entrepreneur, exporter-importer and organization are requested to contact the Commerce Cell of the Directorate of Commerce & Industries, Lamphelpat, Imphal during office hour on or before 4/8/2010. Seats are limited and it shall be first come first served basis.
