Angami Public Organisation reacts to Ibohanbi’s bandh remarks
Nagaland Post | Dimapur, Jul 11 (NPN)
Angami Public Organisation (APO) Wednesday said it has taken strong exception to the remarks made by Manipur Legislative Assembly, opposition leader I. Ibohanbi Singh on the floor of Manipur Assembly, wherein he said “some organization in Nagaland and Manipur were imposing blockade even for petty issue” and that “it was time to teach those who disturbed normal traffic on national highways a lesson”.
Drawing the attention of Manipur government over June 21 incident, APO president Keniengunyü Sekhose and general secretary Vipopal Kintso said that the incident where two persons from Nagaland were drugged and ‘Tata Mobile’ (pickup truck) taken away was not merely a case of vehicle theft as two victims would not have survived had they not been given timely medical attention. “Thus, it was a case of attempted murder,” said APO leaders.
