A Tale of Two Hearts
Kamal Sheikh *
In the beginning of my life, I met her.
As usual she was an angel.
The first hand I ever held,
The only one I cared and loved.
Somewhere we converged, shared and adored.
You were my Juliet, I was your Romeo.
On gossamer wings flew though the cloudless sky.
Promises were built in the Lord's house.
We had detached because of few awkward notions.
Sleepless nights began with tears and those remembrances.
I woke up in the middle of nights, alive as a mad man.
Pains in my heart, my love remains worthless.
To heal these pains, I'm still digging you.
I have a good heart I can be your hero.
Wishes made to dearest God to meet even after demise.
I'll remain love you till my last breath.
