A free screening medical camp was organized at Changganggai by 18 SIKH of 9 Sector under HQ IGAR(South) in collaboration with SRL Diagnostics and RIMS Hospital on 17 Feb 2013. The camp was conducted by the medical team of 18 SIKH, eye specialists from RIMS and a lab team from SRL Diagnostics.
The camp had facilities of screening of Hepatitis-B and eye diseases. All the facilities were provided free of cost to the locals. The response to the camp was overwhelming, with 600 patients treated by the various specialists who volunteered for this noble cause.
Due to the widespread prevalence of liver infections and eye diseases in the local population, the camp was a big success and was welcomed by the civil administrative authorities and the villagers.
Meanwhile, 18 SIKH of 9 Sector under HQ IGAR(S) is conducting 10th Under 16 State Level Football tournament being organised at Th Birachandra Football Academy, Tabunkhok. A total of 11 teams are participating in the tournament from all across the Manipur.
A total cash prize of Rs 40,000/- and a rolling trophy and other administrative assistance will be provided by 18 SIKH. The final match will be played on 24 Feb 2013.
